Get Stoned Crystals and Jewelry

Introducing Diana Buesser from Royal Oak, Michigan. She is the owner of Get Stoned Crystals and Jewelry. Here are three unique facts about Diana:

  • “I stopped working as a trial lawyer to pursue the work that feeds by soul, which includes handmade crystal jewelry, energy healing, private yoga instruction, and past life regressions.”

  • “I had breast cancer four times. The first three, I did traditional treatment with surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. The fourth time, I refused all ‘medical treatment’ and addressed it with natural remedies from around the world. It was gone in nine months, and it's never returned.”

  • “When my late husband died suddenly on Christmas Eve in 2010, I thought my life was over. With the love and support of many people (including strangers on the street and in the grocery store), together with a lot of self-love and painful inner work, I've evolved into a happier, more loving, more compassionate, hopefully better person than I ever thought was possible.”

Tell us about your personal wellness journey. What led you to where you are now?

“Working the stressful life of a trial attorney, with all of the related negative energy, resulted in repeated diagnoses of breast cancer. The last one occurred a few years after the sudden and unexpected death of my late husband. I felt lost, alone, and discouraged with western medicine and my unfulfilling life as a lawyer. I realized I needed to make drastic life changes. I closed my law practice and researched natural remedies for cancer from around the world. I implemented everything I could find, and after nine months, the cancer was gone. I've continued many of the natural remedies in my daily life, and I've been blessed with work that I now love doing every day, including handmade crystal jewelry, energy healing, private yoga instruction, and past life regressions. My new life, with all the positive energy that's exchanged with my clients, has kept me cancer-free for 10 years!”

How did you come up with the idea for your business?

“The idea for my crystal jewelry business began when I was a child, fascinated by the fact that crystals grew in the Earth. Since that time, I've studied the metaphysical properties of crystals and learned how to make jewelry with them. My love for crystals naturally evolved into my current business, which includes handmade designs, custom orders, and my passion for helping people choose the crystals that will benefit them based on their current life circumstances.

The ideas for my other businesses were the result of my own healing journey. People often ask me if there was one thing I believe made the difference in overcoming repeated cancer diagnoses or in healing the grief of losing my late husband, and the answer really is that there wasn't just one thing. It's been a journey and a learning experience that's involved self-love, learning how to accept love and help from others, recognizing the strength there is in vulnerability, learning to release the things, people and situations that can be let go, and knowing how to observe without reaction those things that cannot. Yoga, energy healing and regression work have helped me in these ways, and by sharing my own experiences, I was encouraged to share these gifts with others.”

How did you start your business?

“My crystal jewelry business just sort of evolved. I've been making jewelry since I was a young girl, but I never really considered making it a business until I stopped practicing law and redirected my energy toward the things I'm most passionate about.

My other businesses began by helping friends and family with alternative ways of healing. My journey with healing cancer introduced me to many natural remedies, and when friends saw my progress, they were fascinated and interested in trying things I had found successful. One client lead to another, and simply by word-of-mouth, my businesses formed and grew.”
